Hearsay (D&AD Best New Blood 2008)
DESCRIPTION
This project explores ways in which speech can be represented through typography in order to gain more of an understanding of the speakers voice. The visual outcome was book, which was entirely screen printed. The book explores five different area of speech which is divided into chapters, and demonstrated through each of the five speakers. The speakers voice is transcribed onto translucent paper, which allows the reader to view the whole of each chapter at once if they wish. The book's sheath is also a double-sided poster.
Won D&AD Best New Blood 2008 Student Award.
